The Hofner 500/1 is one of the world's most iconic bass guitars! This model, the "Mersey" bass, is made in Germany, and is inspired by a bass that was made for Paul McCartney in August of 1963. It features a spruce top and flame maple back and sides with white binding, 2 Hofner "Staple" pickups with the classic control panel, and a two-piece neck, two-on-a-strip tuners, and an unbound fingerboard. It is fully hollow, and sounds as Beatle-y as you can get! It comes with a hard tween Hofner case, and loads of case candy.
