About This Listing

This banjo is in remarkable condition for its age.  Stunning woods, dramatic inlays and hand carving all reveal the quality of the piece.

These 4 string models are often converted to 5 string instruments.  This one is all original.  Frets and the back of the neck show wear, but the instrument was clearly respected by previous owners.

Inscriptions inside the resonator reveal the origin of the two letter "C"s on the back of the resonator, one Cleon Chaney.

A non original case is included.
