The Bach Student Trombone is one of the most popular teacher recommended trombones still in production. Featuring a .509" bore and 8-inch bell, the trombone is known for its quality of sound and ease of playing. The bell is made of yellow brass, while the inside slide is formed out of chrome plated nickel silver. This instrument has a brass outer slide with yellow brass outer handslide tubes. Bach adds a clear lacquer finish to complete the manufacturing process. All Bach student trombones include a balancer to aid in the overall playing of the trombone. Made in the US, approximately Forty years ago, the Bach Student Model is serial number 341XX and is in solid condition. There is obvious wear on the emblems and minor scratches on the Nickle exterior components of the trombone. None of the infractions are detrimental to the air-flow within the instrument. There is some metal wear/damage near the spit-valve of the trombone. Our inside technician has adjusted the trombone for general playing conditions. This package includes the trombone, case and mouthpiece. Consider this trombone for the first-time player or as a great choice for any progressing marching band player...MP4522
