Vintage-style acoustic/electric tone. Great for blues, country, rock, rockabilly, and other roots-y styles. Looks amazing, too, especially on an acoustic with character. Hardwired end-pin jack accepts a 1/4 input. Gretsch claims to base this on the DeArmond Rhythm Chief 1000; I can't speak to that as I've never had the good fortune to play a Rhythm Chief, but I can confirm that this pickup does sound good with a lot of vintage vibe. Includes an end-pin harness for non-permanent installation. Same pickup that Gretsch uses on their Gin Rickey models (electrified Jim Dandy guitars). Fits most acoustic soundholes, but double check the measurements of yours to be sure. Original box included.
