Very rare, Matsumoku era, 1984 Vantage X 99B headless, fretless.
I haven't had it very long myself, but it's a quite unique bass to play.
Really, doesn't look like it's had much serious playing time over its nearly 40 year lifespan.
Unlined, neck-thru, ebony fingerboard with minimal string marks but a small divot on the board near the body. Overall, in remarkable shape. 34" scale length.
Non original EMG pickups and electronics. I installed strap locks in a better location than the stock pins.
Action is very low. Tuners work well. No stripped bolts. Truss rod turns freely. Balances very well and light at 9 lbs. An easy gigging bass.
Hardshell case.
