About This Listing

This is the YAMAHA TOUR CUSTOM TOM in the RED WOOD finish.  This drum is described as below:

16” x 14” (diameter x depth)

Serial #:  TT-816F / LY-4072

Dated:  1985 November

Hoops:  Original Yamaha

Leg Brackets:  Gibraltar

Tom Legs (3):  Yamaha

Heads:  Remo Emperor Batter – Remo Ambassador Resonate

This Tom was originally a hanging Tom.  I’ve converted it to a floor Tom.  I have mounted the new leg brackets in order to cover the original Tom mount.  This allows for no holes to be seen where the mount use to reside.  This Tom has a few very minor dings.  Those of us who know these vintage Yamaha drums know that the o-rings usually are disintegrated.  So, I have replaced the old o-rings with new ones on each lug.  The lugs and hoops are virtually free of pits or rust. There are a couple areas I touched up with lacquer to bring the luster back.  I had forgotten of the touch up areas as they are almost unnoticeable.  But overall, the drum looks very, very good and is in great condition.  Shipping $50.00 via UPS or FedEx Ground to the lower 48 U.S. only.  Local pick-up cool too. Please ask all questions prior to purchase.  Please see my other items for sale.  Thanks for looking.
