The guitar has had multiple repairs as shown in the pictures. I bought it to try out a Romantic style guitar but have found I don't have the inclination for these 19th century guitars. Despite having the Louis Panormo label, my friend who sold me told me he could not ascertain whether or not it was really built by Panormo. The price is reflective of that. Brazilian rosewood back and sides and Spruce top. The neck is V shaped and there is a period strap pin at the bottom not shown in the pictures.
Update: I have been told by someone knowledgeable in the subject that this guitar is typical of Mirecourt guitars which apparently were labeled with the Panormo label at the time. There are no fan bracing under the top, only 4 transversal bars.
