This is a rare vintage linear tracking Mitsubishi LT-22 turntable in excellent shape, fully functional, and great sounding. All functions have been tested and work perfectly. The dust cover and hinges work perfect. The tone arm has been calibrated for optimal vinyl tracking. An $80 Sumiko Pearl needle / cartridge is included. This cartridge has a sharp needle with plenty of life, and it is a great match for this table.
This turntable is a great example of an classic 80's , Japan crafted masterpiece. These linear tracking turntables are hard to find in this type of fully functional condition. Linear tracking tables were more expensive to manufacture than the standard type. They utilize multiple motors to create a system where the needle will align perfectly, at a consistent angle with the vinyl grooves. This all adds up to superb fidelity and perfect tracking at all points of your record's surface.
Cosmetically, this is in great shape, with some patina that you would expect from a 40 year old item. It has light wear on the dust cover and fascia, but nothing too prominent. I took multiple pictures in high resolution for you to magnify and inspect
