Funky, thumpy, vintage!

Mosrite style guitar made by Guyatone during Japan's early 60's electric guitar craze; started by The Ventures' tour of Japan in '62.

Serial number 7103399, laminated body, Asian Mahogany neck, Rosewood fretboard, 24.5" scale length, thin frets. "Mudbucker" type pickup, flatwound strings.

Original electronics and hardware, but bridge cover / 'ashtray' is missing (although screws are present), and the tuning machines have been replaced sometime in the past.

Specs:
Weighs about 5.8 lbs. Neck is a D shape, 0.875" thick, 1-3/4" wide at nut, a hair under 2" at 12th fret, 2 1/8" at last fret (20th). Action is 10/64's at 17th fret. Neck relief is 0.40mm at 8th fret.
