Never underestimate the little guy...
I decided to get a little experimental in this rubber bridge batch. Here is a rubber bridge short scale bass. Honestly, it sounds fantastic, and plays great. Aesthetically, this bass is a little beat. There is a far amount of patina -- a chip in the side of the fretboard and two new screw holes had to be put in the pickguard to keep it down.
Again, plays and sounds like a $200 bill. It really kills the "muted hofner" or "dodhouse bass" tone. It also sounds great with a little fuzz or dirt. I will likely do a demo on my Instagram soon.
As always, I cleaned it up, polished the finish, flushed the electronics, changed the strings and set the action low and smooth. Comes with the original hardshell (chipboard) case. I pack my guitars up tight and insure every package for the full purchase amount.
Got questions? Shoot me a message, I love nerding out with other gearheads!
