Greetings, cab shoppers. I am going in a different direction with my "big gig" situation, so this cab is available. Mike Arnopol has called this his "one-cab" solution, and my experience has been that it easily holds its own vs. a 4x10. It's compact and stupid loud. I have run it with a Genzler Magellan 800 on a big stage and it didn't break a sweat. It has a relatively small depth and width, though, so it was just as good a solution for a bar gig I did recently, when I powered it with an Ampeg PF50-T, which sounded heavenly (and was also damn loud.) It's small in footprint but tall, which is nice, as it fits on small stages but is easy to hear if you are standing in front of it due to its high profile, especially since two of the midrange speakers are angled up towards you while you stand in front of it.

The cab is Mike's MAS 112, equipped with the Eminence 112 driver (custom-spec'd for Mike) and 4 midrange drivers, which can be turned on/off with a switch on the front. It is a great example of the "Big E" technology at work, which is amazingly efficient. That means it's the loudest 12-inch cab you've ever heard. It may also be the most articulate.

A previous listing of a similar cab had this quote from the manufacturer:

"The MAS 112 is my take on an all-out electric bass cabinet. It's a more high fidelity cabinet than even the "boutique" bass cabinets. It features a custom 12" Neo driver specifically designed for this specific cabinet. It competes with any 212 cabs out there, but with much better extension, punch and low-end control."
