Here is a listing for TWO 4'x2'x5.5" beautiful acoustic panels hand crafted and designed by a Grammy nominated engineer for their home studio. That’s me. I built many of these over the years and at first wanted to build some for my home studio and sell some extras to finance part of the project, but after the response I got on how much lower the bass extension is, and how these don’t 'kill' a room, I've decided to put my acoustic traps into production.

after researching many years on how to build professional studio quality acoustic treatment, I realized a few essential criteria had to be met. I noticed engineers such as myself, we move a lot, and we work on a lot of different things in an array of unique spaces.

An acoustic panel needs to be light weight and easy to install and transport, but still have great absorptive capacity, especially in the low end and be able to adapt with slight diffusion changes when needed.

What makes these unique is the use of the OC705 material, the sheer thickness of the panel, and the unique open lightweight framing that makes this an actual usable panel to get your room sounding great. This is not the typical foam or 2” panel, this was custom thought out to address making modern bass heavy music in rooms smaller than they were back in the heyday of recording studios while retaining all of the sound quality. These were built because they work when all the store bought ones i tried didn’t… simple as that.

They are a mixture of 705 and 703 Owens Corning Fiberglass Rigid insulation framed in a non traditional way that adds over 1000” square inches of additional mid and low end absorption that no other panel offers. They are made at the optimum thickness to reach down low, like 40hz low if you space them equidistant from the backing wall. I spoke with Ethan Winer, famous acoustician, and talked to a handful of grammy winning artists and engineers and I took note of their biggest complaints with their paneling. This is the result. As the product comes to scale, be the first to enjoy these great panels and I’ll be happy to discount any future purchases or custom orders for you as you help grow the business. Thank you.

These are big, but I am offering free shipping as a promotional way to get things moving. literally. so support the cause if you're in the market for just really effective room treatment.

So I have two:

- 4’ foot x 2’ foot x 5” inch* panels (49”x25”x5”*) each containing:
- 2” of Owens-Corning 705 fiberglass
- 2.5” of Owens-Corning 703 fiberglass
- 1/8” pine frame with acoustically transparent siding that adds an incredible 720sq” inches of direct contact along the sides of the panel.
- fire safe and acoustically transparent Gilford Fabric on BOTH sides.
- use different sides for slightly different acoustic properties.

They are built to be very light weight and easy to hang using fishing wire or any number of simple solutions. The photo of the one in the process of being built still
needs sanding, extra support, filling in of any gaps where more acoustic material can be added. Then it is tightly wrapped with acoustic fabric with special detail to ensure a clean surface and a nice decorative vibe for your creative space.

They make absolutely excellent clouds and early reflection point panels and they absolutely help with the low end.

These will ship protected and with extra fabric just in case.

They are one of a kind and custom built according to the best science on acoustics has to offer without building them permanently into your building :) . I'm working on formal data plots, but my own REW plots in my room have been just fantastically improved, I couldn't mix without em.

Future concepts to come if funding permits … a corner trap that actually works and doesn’t eat the space of a phone booth each corner of your room. Special extra wide freq response treatment panels. these 7” beasts will also include a special more reflective layer on one side and double the low end absorption reach or any commercial unit not built into the concrete of your building :)

What you are buying is TWO of the pictured panels that are hand crafted and each unique and one of a kind. You may choose which two of the panels in the group photo.

I will ship via UPS or Fedex usually within 24 hrs of receiving payment.

I’m also open to custom builds but would need to work out the details. Thank you.
