A. Putnam T2 timpani mallets 2000s - Bamboo

T2 - A. Putnam timpani mallets. This parachute style model features a 1” maple core with a medium thin layer of German felt, tightly sewn.  The overall tone is clear and clean, with a legato approach. Shaft is high quality tonkin bamboo, selected for matching diameter and weight.  The joints are exactly placed for premium balance, then lightly sanded for smoothness and given a finish to polish and protect.  Handle lengths are 15.5 inches and weights are 50g each mallet. 

Mallets are technically used but professionally recovered September 2021 and never used since. These are no longer available new, so this is your chance to have the equivalent of new Putnam mallets but at a used price.
