This Bass Hoop Muffler is in Excellent condition and all original. Obvious ware & minor rust from age. Also this part connects to the Bass Hoop via the clamping bracket with adjusting bolt.
You can adjust the pressure desired for head muffling & Tone Control.
This design allows you to adjust & tighten the Ludwig & Ludwig Dual Bass Drum Muffler with your Hand to your playing discretion.
Also, this part has the desired Ludwig 1924 Patented Pend USA writing embossed in the Metal.
The Top Handle Adjuster has the Art DecoDesign complimentary to the Ludwig Bass Drum T- Rods and Hardware.
The plating is Nickel over Brass and Black over Steel & Brass.
All parts are fully functional and work beautifully.
This Dual Disc Muffler & Bracket are rare & highly desirable in all original condition.
