The Glasser Carbon Composite Acoustic Electric viola combines the advanced technology of the acoustic instrument with state of the art electronics by Bartolini. This allows for the instrument to be played either acoustically or plug in to the Glasser Swordtail active chinrest system. The instrument is set up with Larsen "Aurora" strings and Planetary Pegs.
The AEX includes a carbon composite bridge and soundpost for extra durability. The AEX finish has a distinctive, slightly pearlescent color to the body of the instrument. Available in 9 colors: black, gunmetal, silver, white, pink, red, purple, blue, and green.
The 5 string model is available for 15, 15.5, 16, and 16.5" violas.
