Very nice rack mount fm tuner, made to pick up far away stations clearly as a provider of background music in pro applications,  or in a nice rack mount or other home system.

The unit has am and fm capability and pulls in stations amazingly well, with zero drift. It has many presets, and the ability to choose stereo or mono, for maximum reception. A mono setting can pull in a very weak station perfectly clear with no static, when a stereo signal proves impractical,  or as in many cases, your PA system is in mono. There was a place we used to play that had a sub-carryer transmitter next door and I used this to pull in the Public radio station, with notoriously weak reception from 30 miles away, when the owner asked me what I was using.  Seems he never could get anything in his club with the transmitter in his back yard. He was impressed and got himself one. Now if I could only find a vintage wah pedal that blocked out these things as well! The few times I used mine there it made a memorable and strange sound of a Christian newscast with distorted wahwah vocals. 

Also has scan button, and will find every signal no matter the strength. With the full back lighting replaced it can be viewed in complete darkness or full sunlight.

All things you may take for granted, but having used other non-pro receivers, all of these things have been issues. Especially when you need some break music quick and left your mp3 player at home... the old srandby comes through.

Fully checked,  back lighting replaced. So good for another 30 years. Price includes packing and shipping. Original rack fins may be removed for easier shipping, but of course included.
