Handmade Rikhi Ram Tanpura/Tambura with 4 strings. Purchased in Dehli, India at the Rikhi Ram shop. Only one owner, has been a smoke free studio, rarely used and in excellent condition. Plays beautifully and it has a sweet and melodious tone.
From the Rikhi Ram shop's description this is a Plain Tomboori. Product Description: Tambooks is a traditionally shaped, flat wooden gourd structure, which is made from well seasoned cedar wood. Light and Compact, with Big and Rich sound quality, easy handling in travelling and playing, truly a musician's delight. String combination: 4 strings.
