I bought new from Sam Ash in Nashville to Upgrade from what I had previous to learn on. It made the learning stages of my playing so much better and it was even great to use once I started using for performances. The instrument still plays and holds up like new but there are several blemishes on the instrument. Its never had a serious fall or drop but in the soft case it comes with it has its fair share of bumps.
