This is an exceptionally beautiful & rare Jazz Bass having a Custom Color along w/a Maple Cap neck. Its got a rather great sounding Alder body w/its clean original Olympic White finish having just a bit of yellowing in a few places. Its got a very unusual & desirable black bound/block inlaid “Maple Cap” neck w/no date of any type yet retaining its serial # on its back plate. Its got a clean original Tortoise pickgard & loaded w/a set of original pickups w/pots dated to the 51st week of 1970. These have a very unique funky tone quality. We have seen less than 10 of these maple capped Jazz Basses ever & this is one of the most original & most unusual ever produced. She’s truly near mint overall & comes in its original hard case.
