About This Listing

Guitar was resprayed years ago. Action is now .105" at the bass side at 12th fret. Frets are in great condition, and guitar is easy to play all over the neck. The saddle life is really low though, and a neck reset will be needed in a year or two. I've been told that the fingerboard is non-standard. J Thomas Davis reset the neck and made the bridge about 20 years ago. The top has a hump in it behind the bridge, and Davis custom fit the bottom of the new bridge to conform to the hump. I show the inside pix because a previous owner had hand scalloped some of the bracing. It has not harmed the instrument's function and may have improved it's power. Anyone who plays it, loves it.
