This guitar is a a gem, master grade koa from the island of Kauai and 3A Italian spruce from the dolomite mountains in Italy. The finish is done with Royalac Blonde which is a strong as a poly or nitro finish. It was applied in a french polish style. The guitar has been built in the traditional spanish style on a Solera. The cutaway is a Florentine style shape, .The fingerboard is ebony and has a 16" radius for ease of baring and great for smaller hands, It's 48mm at the nut or 1 7/8" scale 640, soundport and comes with a cover so you can play either way on or off. Position marker on side of neck at the 3rd , 5th , 7th , 9th , 12th , 15th frets. Bone nut and saddle, Goth tuners comes with a new silver lake hard case for shipping. This is a great crossover guitar for players who play both steel and nylon for an easy transition while playing. if you have any question please email me and I will try to answer ASAP. The bindings are also Ebony and to put the soundport cover on you use two sided tape for easy removable. This guitar has great volume, harmonics and clear over tone and passing tones. The bass strings are clear and not over powering on the treble strings so the melody of a song has a great blending of tone. The second picture of the side of the guitar shows the sound port cover on and the first picture with it off. Having a cover is a great help so you have a choice on playing with it on or off. Most guitars with a sound port don't have this choice as most don't have a cover to close the sound port.
