Dated 1982/3 via the capacitors, JRC4558D Chip
There has been a couple of known repairs to the unit
New Alpha Level Pot
The Circuit Boards are secured in place by one screw. If you abuse it and jam a power supply into it constantly, eventually the board cracks where the screw secures it in. There has been a repair there to ensure it now stays secure, see pics. In addition should you wish for me to do so, I can also run a line of hot glue (easy to remove) around the circuit board to ensure it will never break free on you. Just let me know after purchase - and quickly, as I tend to package/ship within hours.
