6-string Acoustic-electric with Laminate Flame Maple Top, Lacewood Back and Sides, Mahogany Neck, and Walnut Fingerboard - Natural

Legendary Fender Acoustic Performance

Fresh from Fender, the FA-345CE acoustic-electric guitar blends comfortable playability with premium looks at an attractive price. With savvy construction that packs a punch where it counts, the FA-345CE pairs an authentic glimmering flame maple top and matching headstock with a resonant mahogany neck for legendary Fender sound and performance both plugged in and offstage. We love the FA-345CE’s comfortable body shape that’s easy to play both sitting and standing. Plus, the internal Sitka spruce soundhole bracing gives the FA-345CE the projection and resonance of a bigger guitar in a smaller package.

Savvy construction

Fender builds the FA-345CE with curated combinations of tonewoods that are hand selected to supply great acoustic tone. The FA-345CE’s flame maple top is a flashy feature you’ll also find on some of the world’s most iconic acoustic and electric guitars — flame maple adds depth, character, and complexity to your playing and is almost a guitar essential. The FA-345CE’s back and sides are built from lacewood laminate, which shares a lot in common with mahogany but adds a little snap and pep that pair well with your maple top. Plus, the FA-345CE sports a comfortable premium mahogany neck with great sonic sustain so your chords can ring pure and true.

Iconic auditorium body style

With the FA-345CE’s sleek auditorium-style body, you’ll play in comfort and style with exceptional access to your guitar’s frets, even those in the FA-345CE’s upper registers. Auditorium bodies are smaller and lighter than traditional dreadnought-style bodies. They shed excess wood off the design yet use the science of sound projection and wood curvature to retain optimum projection and articulation that’s balanced and professional. The FA-345CE’s body also features a lower body cutaway, which means you can access those upper frets.

Plug-in with Fishman electronics

Onboard you’ll get a handy Fishman electronics system for plugging in onstage, at open mics, to recording gear, or wherever you find yourself needing to turn up and turn heads. Fishman electronics are designed to be true to your acoustic guitar’s natural voice with easy-to-use features that both amateurs and pros love. The FA-345CE’s Fishman CD-1 Preamp’s onboard 2-band EQ lets you fine-tune your guitar’s high and low frequencies to get an amplified tone that’s suited to your tastes. The CD-1 also has an onboard tuner with a light-up display for fast tuning, even in dark environments, and a light-up power indicator to let you know when it’s almost time for a fresh battery.
