GeorgeBoards™ has made some really nice and Low Cost Flying Saucer Knobs to Fit Rickenbacker lap steels
and other 1/4" X 3/8" tall Solid Shaft Pots. -- Red Tough PLA -- This is what the PLA folks are calling Fire Engine Red'
To my old eyes it is a little orange-ish red.
These take acrylic paint really nicely too.

Our engineer has done it again, made are very close to the original shape including the tiny 6X32 set screw.
3D printed plenty close enough to "Help Your Ricky Live Again"
I've had some inquiries about the marker line - we simply use a sharpie type pen to color the line. See Photos. This material takes ink - paint nicely.
