For sale, a used but in good condition unbranded vintage German 3/4 size flat-backed double bass with a Realist pickup and vintage peg-hat tuners. The bass plays beautifully and has a buttery, warm, resonant tone. It has had extensive repairs, which are visible in the photos taken (cracks throughout which have been fixed and a hole that was filled in with a piece of wood) - a sublime instrument regardless of its blemishes. We believe that it was semi-recently setup by NYC luthier Thomas Kirchner based on a small engraving on the bridge Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
