Rare Ibanez Ashula Hybrid Bass 2010's (250 made)- White Wash

***Very Rare Ibanez Ashula Fretted/Fretless Bass***

A very hard to come by and innovative model hybrid bass by Ibanez, with only approximately 250 made worldwide.

The Ibanez Ashula bass features four standard Fretted strings plus two unfretted strings, combining the fixed and accurate intonation of frets with the highly expressive possibilities of fretless basses.

Overall the bass is in very fine condition and completely original without any past repairs evident.

Cosmetically, the matte White Washed finish displays some imperfections throughout- with occasional mild dents/marks visible as seen in the photos. There is one more notable darker patch on the top of the bass, and a patch of small dents on the lower edge of the bass.

Functionally, all hardware is fully operational with great playability. All tone/volume knobs adjust without noise/scratchiness- with broad tonal variation possible between the pickups.

The neck is straight with very light indication of play wear and the heel joint is very clean. The truss rod moves freely and the frets show mild wear with approx. 80-85% life remaining.

The tuners function excellently with great stability, and the metal-ware displays only light tarnishing throughout.

Comes with a well padded soft case with a hard lining, in great condition.

Overall an increasingly sought after model Ibanez with innovative design that affords the player unique expressive possibilities, with an equally striking visual appearance.
