Peavey 112PT Passive Speaker (Nashville, Tennessee)

So here we have the omnipotent Peavey 112PT: A speaker used in so many high school bands that it's safe to say there's a generation of young people who probably owe their lives to them. Every high school and junior high dance from about 1972 to 1985 where the boys all fantasized about slow-grooving with their hot French teacher probably had the local cover band hacking out tunes with the vocals run through these midrange muscle beasts. And no doubt they could take the punishment; just the patented indestructible Peavey armor/tolex alone makes these bad boys darn near immortal, and with speaker magnets that approach the weight of a Buick, you can loosen the bricks of any gymnasium from here to Peoria. Or at least knock out the fillings of the gym teacher. They are rated at 200 Watts peak RMS, and you can also use them to jack up the van if you blow a tire on the way home from the gig. We have a matching set of these (priced separately from each other), and they have had only one previous owner. He also saved you some time by taking off both the famous logo AND the aluminum side stripes, so you can rock the prom with humility.
