Purchased in the fall of 2021 from Savage guitars in New York. The guitar has been fantastic to play however I live in a 240 year old house in central Maine and have a difficult time keeping the required humidity of 50%-ish in the winter. I travel between Maine a Quebec a lot so I need to have something a bit less temperamental to humidity change (it's a bit extreme up here so I'm sure it will be fine most other places of the US).
There is very little wear on this instrument as I regularly clean it and have been extremely gentle. There is one mark on the back of the neck. It happened during the production or when it was in the retail space before I received it. I tried to take a picture of it. It's hard to see on camera but it's easier in person.
It plays very well with fantastic character and timbre. I have played this acoustically with a large choral group in lively concert halls and the volume was adequate for that setting.
Savage guitars sent this with slightly high action and I have kept it the same. I prefer it to be this way as I tend to play hard and need the top strings to have a lot of space to move without buzzing. I am pricing this low to recognize that the buyer may need to have this setup from a pro to be to their liking.
Comes with a great hard case.
