Vintage circa 1953 Mason lap steel with original hard shell case. I am dating this guitar based on a piece of original paperwork, for lap steel guitar lessons taken by the original owner, back in 1953 (this piece of paper is also included with the guitar, see last photo). This Mason lap steel is all original and in very good condition, and everything works well. Currently, I don’t have any strings on the guitar. The original hard shell case is also in good condition with all working latches. Overall, this is a very cool and nice, totally original lap steel from the 1950s, and it works as you would expect. There is normal, expected wear for a guitar from the 1950s (finish checking, dings and scratches here and there), and the case also shows some use and wear here and there (see photos). Free shipping in the USA via FedEx Ground.
