Louis Lot flute with Bonneville Head Joint: body and head are silver plated “Maillechort,”(as preferred by many Bonneville & Louis Lot connoisseurs). Though there is no serial number on the head or body, our research points to this wonderful instrument as an early Ernesto Chambille. Mr. Chambille became the owner of Louis Lot in 1904, after being a foreman during the tenure of the prior 2 owners. Confirming the precise date is virtually impossible, as the serial numbers at that time were only on the Head Joint on Louis Lot flutes and on the body of Bonneville flutes. The silver re-plating was extremely well done many years ago with great care, and brings out the great beauty of this fine instrument.
There is a great core and solidity to the delicacy with an astonishing upper register and great warmth throughout. Intonation is solid and attack is clean and quick.
Comes with Blonde Ashwood case, and Flute Suit. Fully serviced by Anne Pollack/Your Flute Works
