The AQX kits from SONOR offer great sounding shells, an extensive hardware lineup and a versatile snare drum. 
Poplar is a widely used shell material for drums. Being softer than other hardwoods like maple, beech or birch, it offers more mid to low frequencies with a softer attack.
The new SONOR cast lug, used on all of the AQ-Series drums, was engineered in Germany with close attention to functionality, durability and design. It is assembled using multiple components and includes the SONOR TuneSafe system to prevent detunung of the drums.
This "Stage" configurations include a 5-piece set of sturdy and functional 1000-Series double-braced Hardware, including two Cymbal Stands, a Snare Stand, Hi-Hat Stand and a Single Bass Drum Pedal.
