Vento Concert Jumbo Cutaway(Former Goodall Gtrs Employee)

This is a Vento Acoustic Concert Jumbo cutaway built in 2012 in Hilo, Hawaii. Vento was one of the luthiers at Goodall Guitars when James Goodall had his factory in Hawaii. . As evidenced by this guitar he clearly paid attention and learned a few things about guitar building while working there.
This is a master grade instrument made in 2012. Fred Vento began building guitars in 2000.
This size is a rosewood Concert Jumbo. This is the most popular guitar body in the Goodall Line up, and although this is not a Goodall, Ventos take on it is very similar Master grade spruce top and AAA grade and dark chocolatey rosewood sides and back are a nice combo. The body is bigger than a grand concert but smaller than a dreadnought and. a lot easier and more comfortable to sit with.
The sound is impressive. Perfectly balanced for fingerstyle but powerful output that suits flatpicking as well. I have owned five different Goodall Guitars over the past 25 years and also sold them through my guitar shop. This is on a par with any. of those.
The concert Jumbo is one of the few guitar body styles that does it all. It's a professional grade, hand built guitar from the workshop of a master luthier.
FYI_ it has upgraded Gotoh gold tuners with ebony buttons , a K&K pickup installed (just plug and play) and a fresh new fret job. It had small frets and I had medium jumbos installed for easier playing and a better feel. A nice price- this has $800 in upgrades. A new Goodall like this is in the $9500 range. Comes with a nice hard case.
