About This Listing

For Sale:

A sweet 1978 Fender Fretless bass with matching numbers that is believed to be all original and includes the original case. The neck is straight and it plays extremely well--currently strung with flats. The tone control is smooth and sounds great. Please note, however, that the volume control is scratchy/intermittent but sounds ok when turned nearly fully up--it will probably either need cleaned or replaced.

Cosmetically, there are scuffs and/or dings that may not show well in the pictures--mainly on the bottom and on the back. The front looks really nice; however, the pickup and bridge covers are not present.

Also, the case closes and latches fine but the spring that would hold the clasp on the right latch up (when open) doesn't work. Also, there are dings or gouges on the case, part of one metal corner protector is broken and there is no key.

Please check my feedback--it will be packed extremely well for shipping. Also, please feel free to ask questions and make a reasonable offer.
