Acoustic sitar with guitar shaped body. Body shape allows for comfortable playing on the knee like a guitar unlike the traditional version that requires a special position.
The main playing strings have guitar machine heads. This instrument his played with a strap that goes around your shoulder like a guitar. Very unique piece. Comes with strap and a large hardshell case.
The body has a crack on the bottom bout that is not moving. I do not want to force the wood with a clamp. The pick guard is slightly lifting on the edge. The instrument has very low action and is very playable for a sitar. Also, the frets have been set by a master sitar repairman, so it is well in tune.
