Up for sale is a set of PRS 57/08 pickups with brushed nickel covers. For those that recall how the coveted 57/08s started, you'll know this is a very special offering. When 57/08s were first introduced to the public, they could only be purchasing in a limited PRS guitar model, or be installed by the PRS factory via the 'PTC Pickup Promotion'. Outside of that, no 57/08s, period. The ONLY exception to this, were boxed, hand labeled sets, that were given to a small set of PRS endorsers - this is one of those sets. I've owned a lot of 57/08s over the years, and these early ones are definitely something special - having the hand written boxed version is just that much more fun for the PRS afecionado - don't miss out! These original versions came with no cover engraving.

The pickups are in perfect working order, and excellent cosmetic condition. There is only the slightest natural tarnish on the covers, if any. Leads are factory original.
