This is the 2017 Gibson Les Paul Studio T Black Cherry Burst Electric Guitar.
24.75" scale length. 1.69" nut width. 8 lbs 9 oz.
.82"-.89" 1st to 12th fret neck depth.
The Gibson Les Paul has been a staple in the guitar world since its introduction in the '50s.
This Les Paul features the time/tone-tested mahogany and maple tonewood combo, with an aluminum bridge and stop bar.
This enables the big low end and the sweet mids that have made the Les Paul famous to almost every guitarist.
This iconic tone is captured by a pair of Gibson humbuckers- 498T and 490R.
The 498T is one of Gibson's highest output pickups, over 14k with alnico 5 magnets.
This provides those big bridge crunches with punch and sweet mids.
The 490R offers the thick neck sustains.
Each of these pickups taps off its volume pot, allowing for good cleans and a wide range of tones.
A real monster.
The mahogany neck has the 60s Slim Taper profile for a comfortable hand feel.
The rosewood board has a 12" radius for silky bends while retaining low action.
This Les Paul is in good overall condition- several marks, a ding near each knob, and small chips.
There is haze in the clear throughout, you can see it clearly in the headstock pics- nothing that affects the performance.
The frets here are clean- setup with action of just under 3/32" at the 12th fret low E.
