Futile Art FX 🥞 Chubby Mid-Boost Fat Control Humbucker Simulator

A modified clone of Demeter MB-2B Midboost Fat Control.

Adds one extra control for the total gain amount available for the boost!

Imagine a dedicated midrange booster pedal that will not only push the front end of an amplifier, but also affect the lower-mid frequency range of your signal resulting in what some might call added “warmth” and “girth”!

I'd say this girl simply shines for the purpose of getting a fatter "humbucker/p90-style" sound from your glassy single coil pickups. It definitely does that very well! It's pretty transparent and will let your guitar's original voice come through while gently adding some sweet and creamy overtones usually associated with instruments made of Honduran Mahogany wood.
Be it hot blues licks, hard rock or the heavy metal - The Chubby is capable of throwing down some sweet heat, no question!

Sustain is not a problem too! It gets along with other pedals nicely but works best as a standalone effect, or BEFORE any drive/distortion device.

Note: The stock design also had a buffered bypass. While some may find this useful, FAFX Chubby stays true to the standards and is a 100% True-Bypass hard-wired version of this legendary effect!

Controls are:
Gain - adjusts the overall Output produced by the circuit. At fully counterclockwise it will be approximately that of the bypassed signal...
Tone - this control Blends between your “unprocessed” and Mid-boosted, Hot Humbucker-like signals.
