About This Listing

This is a very nice Asturias Custom S classical guitar from Japan built in 1993. It has a 650mm scale and a 52mm nut. It also has a clear, very thin golpeador that almost escapes notice.

It has a beautiful, full bodied, even sound with good volume and sustain. The bass is deep and rich and the trebles are strong and clear. All notes have good separation. No buzzing. Easy to play.

This guitar has a few nicks and dings but is still a great looking instrument. It is structurally sound. The neck is straight and the action at the 12th fret is 3.5mm/2.7mm.

I believe this model replaced the John Mills model 20 that was popular in the 1980s. Comes with a newer hard case.
