This is a Harmony H54/1 Rocket. It’s in very nice cosmetic shape. It has some dings and the nitro finish is checking, but it looks and plays great. The frets have some play wear but still have plenty of life. I’m including the beginning of a video and will post the link for a full demo video. The guitar is intonated well and plays very nice. The gold foil pickups sound awesome do the thing you want when pushed with overdrive or fuzz. I’ve got the action set up pretty low with minimal fret buzz. There is room to lower the action if desired. I’ve used a double sided tape to secure the floating bridge in place that will release without issue. I do this with all my floating bridges to ensure they don’t move with heavy strumming and to make string change quick. I have a set of 11 Ernie balls currently strung on the guitar. The original tuners hold tune very well, a couple of them are little harder to turn than the others, but function without issue. There is scratching around the input Jack but the wood is strong and the Jack has no issues at all. Overall This rocket is in great shape for A 55 year old guitar. The neck feels very nice and the truss rod moves freely. I will include the original white plastic strap button. A new one was installed to make the guitar giggable. Both buttons are secure and this instrument is ready for stage or studio work.
