About This Listing

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1966 Gibson J-45 ADJ.

This beautiful cherry sunburst J-45 was purchased from the original owner. With such a straightforward provenance, it may not come as a surprise to hear this guitar is 100% original and in excellent shape, bearing only faint play-wear and no cracks or breaks. The pickguard has shrunk over the years and is doming slightly, but it's secure enough to pass our luthier's evaluation.

With or without a pick, this J-45 sounds fantastic: full-throated with a top-end sparkle uncommon to Gibson acoustics of this vintage. It also responds well to a capo. The 1-9/16" nut-width and a comfy C-shaped neck (somewhat chunkier than those of the early '60s) make this one well-suited for rhythm or lead playing in a variety of styles. It ships with its original hardshell case as well as the original hang-tag.

This guitar is consigned, so no trades, but please feel free to make a reasonable offer. Payments without fees are preferred (Venmo, wire transfer, cash or check).
