The Remo 14" Powerstroke 77 Coated Clear Dot Snare Top Head is made from two plies of 7-mil Mylar (14-mil total), complete w/ a small 7-mil underlay ring around the outside that gets rid of unwanted, ringy overtones.A 5-mil clear center dot is added to the center of the head to give you extra durability, and it has the bonus effect of focusing the pitch.
