Today, for your consideration - a 1997 Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer! It goes without saying that these are some of the most popular pedals ever made. However, this example is a unique outlier. It has come to light that some of the best sounding tube screamers were built in the 90s before parting ways with Maxon. This one has a TA75558P opamp which has a bit more clarity and richness than the older JRC4558D. This example is also in fantastic condition for being almost 27 years old, with its caps dating to the 24th week of 1997. You will even find the original plastic on the pedal‘s faceplate. The only noticeable wear is that the original serial sticker has peeled off from the back panel.
