Gibson Les Paul 50's Wiring 500k Long Shaft Push/Pull Coil Split .022 Orange Drop Switchcraft Toggle

What is it?
-This is a pre-wired Les Paul wiring harness upgrade with long shaft (3/4") push/pull pots for coil splitting.  

-The neck and bridge volumes are push/pull pots to coil split the neck and bridge pickups.

-50's style wiring allows you to maintain more high end and clarity with less treble loss when rolling back on the volume.  

-The harness also features the .022 Orange Drop capacitors.  When compared to the .047 caps, the .022 controls a narrower frequency range.  The result is a slightly sharper and clearer tone with a more detailed high end.  

-Includes pre-wired Switchcraft 3 way toggle.

-Hand wired with the highest quality parts and cleanest solder connections.  This wiring harness will give you the clearest signal possible with even and balanced volume/tone roll off.  


Ingredients

-2 x  500k long split shaft 3/4" push/pull volume pots.

-2 x 500k CTS tone pots. Long split shaft, 3/8" long threaded bushing.

-.022mfd Orange Drop capacitor (produces a smooth and even treble roll off when cutting back on the tone controls)

-Vintage style pull back cloth wire (7 strand 22 gauge wire for the strongest grounding connection)

-Custom aluminum shield plate to insure proper grounding and noise reduction

-extra washers to adjust knob height

Switchcraft Short Straight 3 Way Toggle Switch

-5/16" tall thread. Requires 1/2" hole and 15/16" cavity depth. -Pre-wired with vintage style cloth wire with braided shield. 
-17" for neck/bridge. 20" for jack.
-Includes Creme Tip.  (black available upon request)


NOTE: If you are replacing the electronics on an Epiphone Les Paul you may need to widen the potentiometer holes on the guitar.  You may also need new plastic knob covers to fit full size pots (6mm).  Many Epiphones come stock with smaller pots.
