Here is a gorgeous mahogany Jazz bass body that I bought for a project that didn't turn out. I bought this from a company called the Guitar Mill in Tennessee who makes vintage reproduction guitar parts and this is no exception.
There is some slight relicing across the body where the red finish is chipped off, but nothing major and it doesn't look out of place. The red stain really shines in the sunlight. I was taking these pictures and noticed that the nitro clear coat has finish checking like you'd see in a 40 year old Gibson, very cool and thorough attention to detail. There's something up with the neck pocket, it looks like two of the neck screw holes have been dowelled and drilled. I never even installed anything on this body so can't speak for any issues more than what I'm looking at here.
Very light for a mahogany body
4lbs 4oz
Bridge pickup is slightly longer than neck pickup as you'd expect
Please message me with questions and thanks.
