One of a kind. If Vega had made a Whyte Laydee #7 banjo uke, this would be it. Hand made by Wyatt Fawley, highly regarded banjo maker and reproduction neck builder. Serial number 412015. He hand made the 8 inch pot and neck and fabricated the hardware including a bracket band, tension hoop and Whyte Laydee tone ring. Beautiful carved heel on a curly maple neck. Exquisite engraved pearl inlays on the peghead(Fern), backstrap (griffin), heel and on the ebony fretboard. He fabricated the Vega "pie plate" resonator from a larger Vega resonator. The engraved flanges are original Vega flanges. The geared tuners have genuine mother of pearl buttons. Comes with a newish hard shell case.
