Another desktop pre with a load of UA features but a little lacking in the audio department our goal with these preamps in modification is to make them memorable.
Stock they are a little un-memorable with an anemic low end and not a lot of audio warmth.
We gut all of the capacitors in these little boxes in favor of different values, install the very best quality parts, adjust the voltage rails for lower noise and some other tweaks to arrive at a warm, musical and mojo filled desktop box to capture your next great songwriting idea while using some of UA's best features on tap like the 76.
All told its about 70 parts and the results are excellent with lower noise, better bandwidth, more warmth and generally better audio vibe on every input and output.
