With its forward-shifted scalloped bracing, butterbean tuner tips, belly-style ebony saddle, and a sunburst so lovely you wonder why Martin mostly sticks with natural tops, this is about as close to a pre-war D-18 as you can get without selling your firstborn. It's light, boisterously resonant, and a breeze to play: everything you'd expect from a vintage Martin, but with virtually none of the play-wear. Whether you continue to baby this thing is up to you; either way, it comes with the original hardshell case.
