Letting go of my Sanatoga 12 String electric. I picked this up on Reverb a few years back, and outside of a few recording sessions, I haven’t gotten much use out of it. That is no fault of the guitar, I just may have over-estimated my need for a 12 string! But this is one of the coolest 12 strings you can get. From what I can tell, there’s only one other for sale online, so if you’re into rare and obscure guitars, this one fits the bill.
It has a decent sized dent on the front, and some belt-rash on the back. There’s also some swirly, light scratches from just being played. The finish is high gloss, so this will only be noticeable in direct light. I’ve barely played this thing, so most of the blemishes came with it unfortunately. But this forest green/emerald finish is really eye catching and unique. Can’t say I’ve seen this specific shade on another guitar.
It has a big old, wide neck like most 12 strings, but I found it pretty playable once you adjust to it. The pickups sounds fantastic, nice and jangly like you’d want an electric 12 to be. I’m also a big fan of the rickenbacker knock off vibe of the body shape and pick up covers. This guitar is very fun, and is great for adding layers in the studio, or maybe even filling your sound out live.
Price is pretty firm, but there could be some wiggle room. No trades. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you!
