About This Listing

the Z8000 v2 Matrix Sequencer by Tiptop Audio is a 10-channel (!) matrix-style CV sequencer. quite unique among Eurorack sequencers, the Z8000 comprises 10 inter-related sequencers - a 4-step sequencer for each row (1, 2, 3, 4) and column (A, B, C, D) and another pair of 16-step sequencers that scan the full set of knobs horizontally (left to right moving down the rows) and vertically (top to bottom, moving from left to right through the rows). don't be fooled - there are no menus here, so each knob affects 4 different sequencers at once! as such, every parameter you change can dramatically alter the sound of your patch. each of the 10 sequencers in the z8000 is independently clockable/resettable/direction-switchable with a trio of gate inputs. to make patching quick, easy and rewarding, all inputs are normalled in rows and columns - a clock sent to channel 1 or A will drive channels 1-4 or A-D if no additional clocks are patched into any of the other channels - but these normalizations can be quickly overridden by patching another signal (or even dummy patching) to any jack. grab a clock or two and get wild!

this Z8000 is in excellent condition with minor rash as shown. all controls and jacks have been fully tested and work as expected. this Z8000 is version 2 featuring an updated color-coded panel/jacks, slimmer profile (more skiff friendly) and voltage range adjustment switches/jumpers on the back of the board. includes ribbon cable and insured shipping. sold as-described with any returns at buyer's expense and subject to our standard restocking fee.
