About This Listing

The 330 model offers many of Rickenbacker’s most recognizable features: full-size, thin semi-hollow body; two single-coil pickups; two-piece pickguard; what Rickenbacker calls a “traditionally shaped” sound hole (it’s only traditional if you’re Rickenbacker – it’s their famous ‘slash’).

The body is carved from a single piece of maple and precision-fitted with a solid back. The sweeping double cutaways permit access to all 21 frets. 330 models don’t have binding on the neck or body, but they still offer the distinctive “R” tailpiece and classic headstock logo. The 3-piece neck features dual truss rods. The comfortable rosewood fingerboard features a 10” radius and dot inlays.

Of course, the 330’s single-coil pickups deliver the unmistakable Rickenbacker tone: clear, ringing and articulate. A hardshell case is included. This guitar weighs 8lbs even.

Product Overview
As one of the most popular Rick guitars currently in production, the Rickenbacker 330 has a host of famous fans: Tom Petty, Pete Townshend, Carrie Brownstein, and Johnny Marr, to name a few. The 330 sports Rickenbacker’s classic semi-hollow crescent moon body made of maple. Older 330 models came with the Rickenbacker Toaster pickups, which are more suited to a tone a la The Beatles, while the newer Hi-Gain pickups may sound more like The Smiths. Either way, the Rickenbacker 330 is great for jangly, British-sounding tone.
